All wool tartan blanket by MOFFAT and
KILMAHOG
Weavers of Callander, Scotland. Fringed throw in the Royal Stewart tartan. Measures about 62" by 58", or ..more than 5 feet by almost 5 feet is.

Condition: Smoke free - very good vintage condition. Colors bright and beautiful. No improper care…no shrinking. This blanket is 50+ years old! Wool is thick and soft. No stains. Some of the fringe is slightly loose (coming untwisted maybe 1/3 of the way) but none missing. One small area where one single fringe is slightly coming off (see close up). Single fringe can easily be repaired. I did not attempt.
