This is the Montgomery Ward GEN 3987A. It looks like a 3-piece box, but it''s actually one single piece. It has 12cm woofers and 2cm ceramic tweeters. According to the service manual, its output is 2 watts per channel (minimum) from 80 to 15,000 Hz at 8 ohms and 10% distortion.

This is honestly one of the best sounding boomboxes you can find. It has two built in condenser mics and a basic EQ that really makes this unit special. It comes with a power cord or it can run on batteries.

The unit is clean overall, with a few light scrapes and scuffs that''s to be expected of an older, used boombox. Power cable not included.
